The Demo Optimizer offers a limited function version of the optimization and rebalancing procedures included in New Frontier's software and described in the second edition of Michaud & Michaud's Efficient Asset Management. The demo Optimizer allows you to examine the effects of constraints and other assumptions with the book's base case data and your own data. The Optimizer automatically compares the classical MV solution to the RE solution in tables and charts.

To install: (Excel 2003 or 2007 required) Insert the CD in your CD drive, or download a version using the link to the right. If you use your CD, a pop-up window will appear to guide you in signing up for an account to run the software for a limited time. If you download from this site, double click on the file to install. In both circumstances, you will need to signup for the web service after installation.
