The demo Optimizer offers a limited function version of the optimization and rebalancing procedures offered in NFA's software and described in the second edition of Michaud & Michaud's Efficient Asset Management.  The demo Optimizer allows you to examine the effects of constraints and other assumptions with the book's base case data and your own data.  The Optimizer automatically compares the classical MV solution to the RE solution in tables and charts. 

To use: Insert the CD in your CD drive, or download a version using the link to the left.  If you use your CD, a pop-up window will appear to guide you in signing up for an account to run the software for a limited time.  If you download from this site, double click on the file to install.  In both circumstances, you will need to signup for the web service after installation.  

The Optimizer software is provided for non-commercial educational uses only.  All other applications are proscribed.
