Software and Quality Control Engineer

The successful candidate will support the software development process. This position has responsibilities in both quality assurance and software artifact management. You will
• Lead manual testing efforts
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Develop and maintain software installers
• Make and deploy builds
• Maintain and enhance testing tools
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Skills:
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance methods and practices
• Programming with one or more software management technologies such as Cruise Control, Gallio, VMWare VIX, Installshield, WiX
• Demonstrably superior analytical problem solving
• Extreme attention to detail
• Desire and ability for independent learning and research
• Ability to work independently and self-manage
• Knowledge of basic financial economics is helpful
• Ability to lead and manage group testing
• Passion for improving quality processes

Education:
• A degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, Operations Research).
• An advanced degree is desirable but not necessary.
• Two or more years’ software industry experience.
